This time in Baguio where my wife and I spent our holidays.

Here are a few shots I took, out of 100++  gruelling clicks, a drained battery, DIY flash bouncer and a whole afternoon that ended with a headache. Enjoy.. :)

A 100mm costs roughly 30K in most stores, but if you’re lucky you’d find some that actually offer discounts up to 3K for a cash purchase. But there’s one prudent question that needs to be settled before buying…. should I shell out that amount of money now adays esp. with the hovering global financial crisis? I know, this is the time to tighten my belt, but I cant help but wish for that lens… a wish that is fast becoming an elusive one :-(

After reading tons of site about Macro phography, I stumble upon an unsual technique of reversing a normal lens or your ordinary kit lens 18-55mm on Fred Miranda’s site. What a FB idea!

I found that there are local store sells generic reverse ring couplers which fit well on my Canon camera. It costs only 400php /gg! I had what I wanted from that dirt cheap alternative with my economic conscience still intact.

Here are some of the picture I took using the reverse ring couple with 18-55mm kit lense.
